Delivery

We are currently use courier to deliver our products which is a next day courier who will normally deliver before lunchtime although may take up until 5pm to deliver your goods. The cost of carriage also includes for picking and packing. 

All orders over £100 being delivered to a UK mainland address will receive Free Shipping.

Most of the items on the web site are held in stock unless otherwise indicated. If it is in stock, then we will normally deliver within 1-3 working days.

If a product is not in stock, then we aim to ship the goods to you within 10 working days - we will usually notify you if there is to be a delay.

Delivery Quotes

When you are purchasing through our on-line shopping cart, the delivery charges will automatically be calculated according to weight. If you wish to see how much your order will cost in carriage charges, simply add the items to the cart and go through part of the ordering process and it will tell you automatically - rather than waiting for us to send back a quote. We are frequently asked about Saturday deliveries - we are technically able to do this, dispatching on a Friday for Saturday morning delivery, but we would only offer the service in the most pressing circumstances as we have found Saturday drivers to be unreliable. We will not guarantee this service for this reason.

Returning Goods

If the products you have chosen do not meet your approval, please return them to us within seven days and on receipt we will be happy to make a refund for the value of the goods. We are unable to refund carriage charges because we will have incurred the costs as soon as the goods are dispatched. For this reason we ask you to ensure that somebody will be available to receive the goods you have ordered.

Where items are being returned we must insist that they are returned unused, in their own original packaging. Please make sure you get a receipt from the post office when you return an item in case of loss.

How quickly do you deliver?

If an order is received by 2pm on a working day it will normally be shipped out for delivery next working day.  Our courier normally leaves at 4pm.  If you need something next day please give us a call so we can look out for  the order and check stocks for you.  This only applies to Mainland United Kingdom.

Who do you use to deliver?

We use the APC network to deliver across the UK and Ireland.  Across Europe we use Fedex.

When is the final cut off point for ordering?

We normally say the cut off is at 2pm to be certain – however please call if it is after 3pm and we will try our best to get it out of the door.  Sometimes it will not be possible though.

I want my delivery on Saturday?

Our couriers can deliver on a Saturday but it is more expensive and not quite as reliable.

Can I collect from you?

Yes you can, but please give us a call first to make sure we are around and not unavailable.

Can I specify a time for delivery?

The delivery will be made between 8.00am to 4.30pm.

Do you deliver overseas?

We have a dedicated web site for European countries we ship to www.cater4you.eu.  This gives you an idea of how much it will cost.  Once we receive the order / quote we will source the best shipping rate for you.

Can I track my order on-line?

Yes you can.  Once the order has been shipped, we send you a confirmation email with tracking details.  These are normally updated once the packages have arrived at the main depot in the evening.

Some do's and don'ts:

Do

• Be aware that deliveries are normally made by our overnight couriers in the morning however delivery can be any time up to 5pm
• Be exact when specifying delivery addresses.
• Make sure that somebody will be there to receive the goods, if you cannot be sure somebody will be in then please use another delivery address…eg. your work address.  After two attempts the goods are returned to us.  We reserve the right to re-charge any delivery costs if we re-send the goods to you

Don’t

• Try and specify a timed delivery – our couriers will normally be delivering many packages from various companies each day to your region.
• Expect deliveries to be made on Saturday or Sunday – this will not happen.
• Demand complicated delivery instructions eg “please leave my goods in my next door neighbour’s garden shed”.
